On October 10, 1809, Meriwether Lewis, of the famed Lewis and Clark expedition of 1804, died of gunshot wounds. He had no children, yet today, about 200 very distant relatives want the National Park Service to allow them to exhume his body to see if there is any evidence as to whether his death was suicide or murder. These people need to get a life, and then maybe they would not have to live in the past.
