Global warming appears to be occurring. However, contrary to the Obamanation’s chief global warming representative, Al Gore, there is no conclusive evidence that man caused it, or, even if it was caused by man, that man can stop it or even slow it. Rising ocean levels have been observed for many decades. In the early 1960’s, in an ecology class at North Carolina State University, we studied how the rising level of the Atlantic Ocean was affecting the North Carolina coastline. There were areas where dead trees were poking from the sand after the beach moved inland, but this did not stop people from building along the coastline. Instead of worrying about how to stop nature and how to reduce man’s supposed effect upon the climate, we should be working on ways to deal with and live with the climate changes.
