Ever notice how people who say they act like they do because they are "different" than everyone else seem to hang around with people who act just like them. They all dress alike, act alike, and think alike, such as some Harley motorcycle riders. So much for being different.
I own and ride a Harley. I am also learning Taekwondo at a mature age (I was 45 when I started). Both motorcycling and TKD have a uniform. We all dress alike in the Dojang, in the standardised Dobok. I wear helmet, and protective equiment in both. Can we all be different all the time?
ReplyDeleteOne can only be different for a short time. If one is truly different from the norm, it will not be long until others start imitating him or her. Then the individual difference is gone and it the group that claims to be different, when in fact they are not different, they are just another group of people claiming to be different.
