Hope and Pray

I hear people say “I hope and pray that everything will be okay.” If you believe in prayer, why do you need hope? Hope is a belief that everything will work out for the best. Prayer is asking God to work everything out for the best. If you believe that God will answer your prayer, then there is no need for hope. What would you hope for; that your prayer will be answered.

  1. the definition of hope is wrong.hope is not a belief, but a desire.when someone say he hope he is safe,he's not saying he's confident he is safe, but he wish he will be safe.It is because of this desire for everything to work out the best that we pray.theres no praying without hope.

    Regardless,

If everything is believed is going to be alright, and we pray, and we get the outcome which is not really good, that doesnt mean God does not answer our prayer,He just didnt make our prayer happen.Theres no such thing as every prayer will be accomplished. Its not because prayers are useless but because:
1.Lack of effort to make it happen
2.God does not destined it to happen now
3.The person praying does too much sins

In case,a person believes that effort alone is enough to make something happen, sometimes it(effort) is not necessary actually.

If the person think God is too demanding on effort,or we are powerless to do effort, then we are only bound to surrendering to his will and pray.Sometimes using only this when effort is unavailable also makes things happen.

When God does not destined it to happen now, doesnt mean it would not happen. And remember,God gives a person anything he want in heaven, instantaneously.

This is the answer using the knowledge of Islamic teachings.I have not say you are wrong and I just want a friendly discussion about this matter
