Heroes and the Media

Firefighters, police officers, airline pilots, etc. who do their duty (what they are paid to do as a part of their job) during disasters are hailed as heroes by the media and it bombards the public with reports about the "heroism." For example, a pilot who crashes lands an aircraft without the loss of life as he was trained to do.  Whereas, military personal who perform these same duties during military or civilian disasters or during war, are completely ignored by the media. However, if military personnel do anything wrong, it is headline news. Who says the media is biased?

Check out TKDTutor.com for information on the martial arts.
